Game: Character Design

Game character design: warrior and prince. HaHa~ I wasn't actually going to show the coloured version, it is my first attempt to use the drawing-tablet.

Design: ShyHi: style guide

Some pages from my Style guide for a t.v. channel project, sets out the guideline for colour, spacing, pattern to background music. Logo, stationary, promotional posters, promo items (mascot, t-shirt, huddie) and ident animation are all design according to the guide.

Game: Logo

Logo for a fantasy game in medieval time frame. The name is a continuation from a personal childhood favorate game. The symbolic shape is the icon of what the game is about and there is two variations of it.

Design: ShyHi: promotion posters

Design: ShyHi: logo & stationary

This is a project of a television channel for children called "Shy-Hi" filled with programmes of asia culture. Created a logo design that is CUTE, FUN and has traditional asia COLOURS. Then fellowing the logo, created the Business Stationaries which includes Envelopes, Business Card, Complimentary Card and Letter. (Not sure why it shows up blue...)

Painting: Digital: Totoro and us

My first attempt of using the newly brought tablet and Painter IX (old school). Reference a photo of me and my cusins from the states, Justin and Kristen. Lets just say they were really into totoros then... :)

Painting: Digital: "Girl in the forest"

I did this digital painting while i was in holidays at taiwan. I called this piece "girl in the forest", figures huh~ The style of this painting is going for the realistic human features with a mistical lighting atmosphere. A very popular style in asian for romance book covers.

Painting: Digital: Tiger

This is one of my first attempts to use Corel Painter with a tablet. Love the combination with a passion, much better than drawing with a mouse. Each layer and stroke of fur is done by hand, took about 15 hours to draw this Tiger.

Painting: Digital: Character portraite/design

A dragon knight character with a giant weapon that is a combination of spear and shield. Digital painting .

Painting: Acrylic: Hawaii Family Portraite

A family portraite painted with acrylic paints on canvas (2007), can't remember the exact size but some where around A2 size. There is some thing about actual painting that can not be replace by digital painting... the smell and the feeling in the finger tips perhaps...

Oh ya! This is my first online portfolio and blog post so I am really excited to share my art pieces and passion to you. Hope you will enjoy watching/reading/looking as much as I do posting it ^^
